Suicide Tuesday
Written by Luke Mills Thursday, 01 July 2010
Suicide Tuesday are a four-piece Rock’n’Roll band from Nottingham, brought together, spawned and inspired by the sleazy sounds of the Mid-80s Sunset Strip scene. Mötley Crüe, early GN'R, Faster Pussycat, Pretty Boy Floyd and a score of others are part of the band's DNA, mixed in with a personal, contemporary twist and a healthy dose of punky attitude, harking back to '77 CBGBs.
With the impeccable visual timekeeping of drum wiz Michael Richards, Oz Paul's rollicking lead guitar, Jonny Suicide's primal bass throb and the frantic energy of charismatic front man Enrico Brienza, Suicide Tuesday have quickly established themselves as a bonafide party band, guaranteed to satisfy and always provide a wild nite of loud guitars, booze and pure ROCK action.
Strong on the time-tested song writing team of Oz Paul, Enrico and Jonny Suicide, ST's ever-growing songbook is rich with catchy hooks, killer riffs and instant-classic melodies you'll find yourself singing along to before you know it, It's all in the song as they say and writing good songs in the good old fashioned way is what this band does best.
Having recorded the cracking "Desperation" EP in early 2010 (now available on iTunes or through the band's MySpace) ST embarked on a 7-date UK tour supporting US glam legends Faster Pussycat and Enuff Z'Nuff, further cementing their status in front of the national RNR community by sharing the stage, night after night, with some of their biggest heroes.
The "Glam Jam" tour has brought immense recognition to a band looking to bring back Rock'n'Roll at its raunchiest, sleaziest and most outrageous, in short, as it's meant to be! And, if it's a long way to the top, the boys are ready and willing to climb it all the way up.
Let Suicide Tuesday rock your night, throw your hands in the air cause Rock'n'Roll is back, and it's here to stay!
“Fucking great.......An absolute breath of fresh air to hear good rock'n'roll songs with solid rockin guitar riffs and ballsy solos and Tone!!” (JOEL O’KEEFFE, AIRBOURNE).
SheBangg
Written by Luke Mills Thursday, 01 July 2010
SheBangg are a female-fronted four-piece from the West Midlands, UK. Their music can be broadly described as power pop / melodic rock, but it also encompasses elements of many other styles, from blues and folk, through to soul and the harder edge of rock. Whilst difficult to pigeon-hole, SheBangg’s similarities do cover a wide range of bands and artists and their influences are many fold: From the raunchy / soulful lead vocals of Janis Joplin, Anastacia or Pink; the lyrical attitude of Alanis Morissette or Skunk Anansie; the multi-part harmonies of The Magic Numbers or The Beach Boys; the tight musicianship and melodic power of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers or The Foo Fighters; and the innovative songwriting of The Beatles or No Doubt.
SheBangg formed four years ago and whilst the line-up of Chrissii Wing, Tim Barratt and Leyton Burgess has remained the same since the early days, there have been a variety of bassists, second guitarists and keyboardists coming and going! SheBangg’s music has developed and evolved over this time, and they now have a back catalogue of well over 50 strong, original songs. In a typical set, there may be out-and-out rockers, jangly pop, acoustic ballads, pop punk and blues … but all with very recognisable SheBangg trademarks and signatures. In four years, SheBangg have played over 200 gigs in venues ranging from small pubs and clubs through to theatres and outdoor festivals. Their music has been played on radio stations such as Beacon Radio, Kerrang, Radio Shropshire and Heart FM. SheBangg regularly feature high in the charts of many INTERNET radio stations and, through these stations, their music has been particularly well received in the U.S. and Europe.

Reviews "ONE FOR THE ROAD" "ONE EXCELLENT ALBUM OF CATCHY TIMELESS PUNK-ROCK" 8/10 ROCKSOUND "SONGS ABOUT PUNK , FIGHTING AND DRINKING. PUNK THE WAY MOMMA USED TO MAKE " 3/5 KERRANG
Review by Fungalpunk - Star @ Garter Manchester 23/5/10 A good chat with Stu and some other local bods and the clock soon ticked on and the first band were tearing it up with a darn good punk rock noise to savour. Bassist and lead guitarist swapped vocal duties which maintained high interest with all and sundry and some red hot riffage was played within the main melting pot that won my favour from the word go. Senseless have asked me on numerous occasions for a gig and I have tried here and there to accommodate but never actually got around to booking them. On this evidence it has been entirely my loss and I hang my head in shame at missing out on this red hot 3 piece. The opening 4 tracks seared into the attentive areas and head me nodding along in rhythmic approval. What Senseless do is grasp the fundamental genitals of punk rock and rub em' up the right way with a sonic sexual expertise liable to fuck the ear drums of all in attendance. I felt shagged out by the end of it so what more could I ask for? Despite my lowly mood this was a tuneful tonic I needed and a big thanks to the guys is given. I fuckin' love a good din!
Eastroad
Written by Luke Mills Sunday, 04 July 2010
EASTROAD have been playing gigs around the U.K. for the past 8 years. There have been a couple of changes in the line-up during that time.
Originally from Lincolnshire the band decided to move south to the capital in the summer of 2006. The band members live in a house in South London.
They are the two brothers Rob and Will, who in the long-standing tradition of brothers in bands argue and fight. (Mostly with each other) Liam and Noel Gallagher, Ray and Dave Davies you get the picture. Ben who is also a D.J. also referees some of the brothers slanging matches.
Rob is the person that writes most of the Eastroad material and shares the main vocals with Will. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently studying for a masters degree.
Will is Robs younger Brother; he plays bass and shares the vocals with Rob. He is ambidextrous and can play guitar left or right handed.
Will is a resting actor, currently working for the London Probation Service.
Ben is the man behind the drum kit, he also provides backing vocals on a number of the Eastroad songs.
He is a former student of London's Drum Tech. College. He is a trained fitness instructor & lifeguard. Ben is a manager at a large London Leisure Centre.
Over the past few years Eastroad have had the honour, of being a support band for:
- Roland Gift and the Fine Young Cannibals
- Alabama 3
- Lene Lovich
- Midge Ure
- Sigue Sigue Sputnik
- David Ford
- The Sessions
- Fiction Plane
- Eddie & the Hot Rods
